Endorphin Warrior Training Bracelet Giveaway
When I received my Endorphin Warrior Training Bracelet in the mail a few weeks ago I was excited. They had extended the offer to do a contest via Twitter and I was happy to be on board. I have a bracelet like the one above that says FOCUS from Hood to Coast in 2011. It was my go-to word that year as I tend to wander mentally during races. The only issue with it is that it’s a bit too small so I can’t wear it all the time. My request for a new one (with a new word, of course) was received well so I chose BELIEVE. I have a bit of a hard time with that during some of my runs and can succumb to negative self-doubt more often than I like.
It’s honestly hard to review a fairly simple piece of jewelry – I’ll admit that I was putting off the post since I had so little to write – so I’ve been wearing it lately in hopes of having more, besides “I will believe in myself on race day”, to say. Last week gave me too much to say.
Life stress had me looking down at my wrist more often than not; I need to believe that certain things are changing for the best. And then Boston happened. I was at work when Colin phoned to ask if I’d heard. Working in retail, where I don’t see much of the outside world for 8 hours, I had not. After I had, though, I was on Twitter (regardless of cell phone use rules) trying to learn about all the people I’ve met in real life and online because of running. I was mentally checking off their names while also trying to learn as much about the situation as possible. It was frustrating and worrying. I wanted a hug.
As corny as it sounds, having a simple word BELIEVE to look at helped.
Believe people I know are okay.
Believe things I can’t control are taken care of.
Believe that those responsible will be found.
Believe.
Believe.
Believe.
Because if I couldn’t do that I would have freaked out.
So, as simple as a piece of leather and a bit of metal are, my bracelet helped.
You could win your own Training Bracelet courtesy of Endorphin Warrior. Simply head on over to endorphinwarrior.com, look around, and let me know via a comment what bracelet you would want to wear and why.

Note: I was given my bracelet from Endorphin Warrior free of charge in return for this review/giveaway. All opinions are my own.
If I won, I would probably like the “Persevere” bracelet, because I just recently started working out to tone up, and that looking at that would remind me to just keep pushing. These are all so nice!

I would go with “Relentless.” I’ve been trying to get healthy and in shape lately, and that’s been my go-to word. I have to be relentless, steady, and consistent with my work. It’d be a nice reminder to keep up the hard work. 🙂

I’ve always wanted to one of these bracelets. I’d probably pick “believe” “breathe” or “transcend”. It would be a hard choice for sure. All three are meaningful to me and help me stay focused I think.

I would love the “Persevere” bracelet. I’ve been told many times from old teachers and friends that I’m resilient and I persevere. “Persevere” is the perfect word to describe my life and running journey. I keep going even though the going gets tough.

I would go with the Believe bracelet. Reminds me to Believe in myself.

I love the Believe bracelet. I have some pretty lofty goals for myself, I just need to believe that I can achieve them.

I would choose the “Unbreakable” bracelet. Ever since I started this journey, I have only succeeded when I keep something unbreakable. I’d like to think that having that reminder would keep me on track.

I thought I’d want Believe too, but I was drawn to Relentess on the webpage. Love it! I currently wear a cheap Beast Mode plastic bracelet that helps me focus during races!

These are great! I would choose RELENTLESS. The miles are relentless and so am I.

“Persevere.” That’s what long-distance running (and life) is all about 😉

“strength” for sure…I found so much more power and speed in running due to strength!

My favorite is the “BELIEVE Warrior Training Bracelet”. In running as well as in life you have to BELIEVE in yourself. Once you do, you can do ANYTHING!

I always use BELIEVE as my go to word when I’m racing. I’d love to have this on my wrist to look down and see. 🙂

I would want to wear the bracelet that says “breathe” the most.
More often than not sometimes we just forget that one simple word. When things are getting too hard to handle and overwhelming feelings are unavoidable, we need to just breathe!
When my training is getting too tough and I want to just quit, I have to remind myself to just breathe and remember I can always push a little harder of I just take a deep breathe and believe in myself!
